The light at the end of the tunnel is fast approaching! And as excited as we all are for things to go “back to normal”, I think we can agree that it will never be quite the same again. Our lifestyles have forever changed. 

The same goes for businesses. Even though your product or services are the same, the way you operate now and the purpose you serve for your customers has completely changed. Now you need to identify exactly what value you have to offer to your potential customers in this current time. 

A simple way to do this is to write out a Value Proposition. 

What is a Value Proposition? 

It’s a simple statement used to describe your business and how it solves your customer’s problems.

Why do I need one? 

A value proposition will help identify your business’s purpose and improves your understanding of your customers. More importantly, it helps your customers understand the value of what your business has to offer. 

Additionally, it will also help you create powerful marketing messages!


How do I write a Value Proposition?

The best way to start is by brainstorming the benefits your business has to offer. 

Ask yourself these questions and write down the answer: 

• What is your product or service?

• How do they buy it?

• What your customer’s needs? 

• How do you solve their problems? 

• How are you going to make their life better? 

• What is your sales process?


Put that all into a clear, concise sentence - and you’ve written your new Value Proposition!
